random noises…

June 2, 2006

So I’m all about cleaning and packing today so instead of my normal post (which would probably be pretty boring today) I thought I’d give you a bit of what a person might hear throughout the day in our home…

  • "Don’t tell me you didn’t do poopie, I can smell you."
  • "Are you supposed to touch that?"
  • "I was just getting a cookie."
  • "I’m going bye-bye Mommy."
  • "Don’t touch that, it’s not a toy."
  • "But Peter wanted me to hold him like this."
  • "I gave her a kiss."
  • "Where is your shirt."
  • "I want pee-pee juice on my macaroni too."
  • "Look Daddy, this bag can move."
  • "Let the cat out of that bag."
  • "Are we leaving right now."
  • "I don’t want to get a spank."
  • "You can’t kill him, this moth is my friend."
  • "Andrew did it too."
  • "I just needed a little snack."
  • "I didn’t toot, Francesca did."
  • "I’m not doing a poop, you are."
  • "Can we just have one brother and one sister, and not have an Andrew."
  • "Why don’t we get rid of you instead?"
  • "I wasn’t in the car…"
  • "I don’t need a bath, I’m clean."
  • "We didn’t have breakfast today, only pancakes."
  • "Can we go through a car wash today?"
  • "Why are you taking me out of your bed?"
  • "Is Daddy at the little office or the big office."
  • "We need to take a bath, we’re dirty."
  • "Didn’t I tell you not to climb on that."
  • "What are you doing now?"
  • "No we’re not almost home, I don’t see the cross yet."
  • "I can’t eat dinner yet, I didn’t have peanut butter and jelly."
  • "Why can’t I wear this."
  • "But I am telling the truth."
  • "I love you more."
  • "I’m not grumpy, I’m Andrew."
  • "Do not take that out of his hands."
  • "Because I said not to."

I could go on, but I’ll save them for another time.  See you in a few days.

p.s. My free trial ends in 5 days, want me to continue?  Or do I really only have three fans?  Gotta let me know!

Have you been listening in at my house?!? I keep joking that I need to start a journal of “Things I Never Thought I’d Find Myself Saying.” Gems like, “No, don’t dust your sister!” or “Drop the knife!” (my son seems inexplicably drawn to weapons of any sort, and swoops in at the opportunity to “help” mommy unload the dishwasher)

I really enjoy reading your blog – so I vote to stick around 🙂
